Eldred is located at the northern end of the Meeting of the Great Rivers Scenic Byway. Situated 3 miles east of Kampsville where Highway 108 intersects Eldred Road, this small agricultural community contains a local park with picnic facilities and a bank building that reminds one of a 1940's western B movie set.
