Pere Marquette State Park

Pere Marquette offers the camper
a wide variety of options.
The 80 site Class A campground
can accommodate RVs as well as traditional campers. In addition there are
two Rent-A-Camp cabins and two handicap accessible sites. Amenities at this
campground include electrical hookups, sanitary dump stations and drinking
water. A shower building is available on the grounds. Campsites 2-30 and 80
can be reserved from May through October while the others are on a first
come, first served basis year-round. See the links below for price.
The Class B campground, which is
for tents only, has
access to a shower building.
The Youth Tent Camp Area, also
known as Duncan Hill, is popular with groups like scouting organizations.
This is a separate site with a picnic shelter and tables, pit-type toilets
and drinking water.
For large organized groups there
are three camping sites. Camp Potawatomi accommodates 68 campers and
Camps Piasa and Ouatoga accommodate 145 campers. All these sites offer fully
equipped kitchens and dining rooms, lighted sleeping cabins with cots
and mattresses and restroom facilities with warm showers and flush toilets.
Camps Piasa and Ouatoga feature swimming pools.
