Snail Scott : Inclination: Edwardsville artist Snail Scott
creates provocative works by combining unlikely imagery and materials that
offers a connection with the real world. Through her sculptures, she uses
common and familiar materials to invite the observer to “create a new
understanding of the object.”

The Greater Augusta Chamber of Commerce hosts the
Augusta Plein Air Event that has become one of the largest plein
air events in the Midwest. In previous years over 100 artists from
6 states participated during the 10-day event. For the artists
there will be a contest with prizes and an opportunity to sell
their art. For the public this is an opportunity to chat with the
artists and watch them work during a variety of special events.
There will be an art sale and auction on Saturday, May 3rd.
