OLD THRESHERS REUNION

The focus of this event is threshing- the beating
of the seeds from grain. Features include threshing and sawing
demonstrations, antique tractors, tractors and horse pulls, crafts,
a flea market, children's games, live entertainment, and
refreshments. A favorite of the event is the 1908 steam powered all
wooden Merry Go Round with original ticket booth!

APPLEFEST

Bring your family and friends and enjoy a beautiful autumn drive
along scenic Highway 79 and spend the day in Clarksville while
enjoying the annual Applefest activities. Start the day on
Saturday at 10 am with the Applefest parade. Afterwards browse
the many crafters and vendors throughout town. Enter the Apple
Bake-off contest with your favorite baked apple dish. You are
invited to visit Clarksville’s shops and watch some of
Missouri’s best working artists. Delight in a stroll along the
Mississippi River while enjoying a tasty treat from the
Riverfront Food Court. Schwan’s will be hosting a Chamber
Fundraiser at River Front Park. The annual art show is located
in the historic Appleshed and the historic
Elgin/Cottrell House will be open for guided tours during
the festival.
