Particioating locations include Garden Gallery, Aartful Rose, Crisp Museum, River Campus Art Gallery, Black Door Gallery, Bilderbach Art Plaza, Mozaic, WESTRAY Studio, O'Tenem Gallery, Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, Esprit Jolie Photography, The Artist Studio, Gallery of Inspirations, Broadway Books and Roasting Co., The River View  Room, and Edward Bernard.

Saxon Lutheran Memorial, 296 Saxon Memorial Drive

This is a wonderful way to start the month as the Saxon Lutheran Memorial holds it community baking day the first Saturday of each month.  The aroma of fresh baked goods, the company of friends and neighbors, and the sharing of recipes and helpful hints are the perfect ingredients for a Saturday morning.  Share a cup of coffee and cut into a loaf of bread or tear off a piece of soft pretzels and it just doesn't get much better.

Tunes at Twilight is an award winning outdoor concert series organized by the Old Town Cape organization and held on Friday nights. The series provides a free hour long concert for 6 weeks in the spring and 6 weeks in the fall. In case of rain, the indoor location will be at Rose Theater on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

These venues will be showcased during the tour that is organized by the Old Town Cape organization and sponsored by Realty Executives. FORT D
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

For the four years of the Civil War, Fort D protected the city of Cape Girardeau from attack. Now the old fort will come to life once more. First observed after the end of the Civil War, Memorial Day (originally known as Decoration Day) honors the memory of U. S. soldiers who have died in military service. Join local re-enactors (Civil War, Native American, and French & Indian) as they portray a timeline event at Fort D.
