ANNUAL SPRING
GARDEN WALK

Experience Ste. Genevieve on tours of its gardens. Throughout the weekend there will also be a Plant Sale by the Master Gardeners, an Herb and Plant Sale at the Bolduc House Museum, a Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, and a raffle drawing.

Enjoy an evening in the garden at this recreation of a veillee, a traditional French Colonial summer social gathering. Featured will be French folk dancing, folk tales, candlelight tours of the home, and refreshments.

FRENCH FESTIVAL 
Ste. Genevieve, MO
June 14 - June 15, 2008
This French Heritage Festival celebrates the 300 years of French culture in America from Quebec to New Orleans and recognizes the greatest concentration of French Colonial architecture in North America that exists in Ste. Genevieve. There will be music, dance, French cuisine and other refreshments, wine tasting, reenactments, promenades, lectures, and French Colonial architecture tours.

ANTIQUE SHOW
& SALE 

Ste. Genevieve, MO

Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday: 11 am - 4 pm
Knights of Columbus Home, 600 E. Market Street
This show and sale will feature a variety of antiques in this circa 1912 home and spacious lawn from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. Periodic "Antique Talks" will be held on the home's wide front porch and "Antique Door Prizes" will be awarded daily.

COUNTY FAIR

July 11 - July 13, 2008

County Fairgrounds
The Ste. Genevieve County Fair includes a parade, livestock shows, demolition derby, horse show, truck pulls, tractor pulls, queen contest, 4H and FFA exhibits and a band on Friday night. There is a lot to see and do for adults and children all weekend with plenty of good food and entertainment.

JOUR DE FETE

9 am - 6 pm
Held annually in the middle of August, this French cultural heritage event features and Arts & Crafts Show with over 500 booths of artists and colonial crafters, a 5000 Meter Race and 1 Mile Fun Run, and a Classic Cruisers Car Show. The will be food, drink and entertainment both days.
Admission and parking free
Shuttle bus service, $1, leaves every 15 minutes from parking area at the industrial park, US 61 and M Road.

The annual Classic Cruisers Car Show features thirty-five classes with three awards per class. Food, beer, soda and dinner available by the Knights of Columbus. Registration from 8 am to 11:30 am, judging from 12 pm to 3 pm and awards presentation at 3:30 pm.

The Ste. Genevieve Art Guild kicks off its Plein Air Event with a workshop featuring Michael Anderson. Michael Anderson has been an artist, illustrator & designer for over 30 years. Prior to establishing Michael Anderson Studio in Belleville in 1983 he was employed as a display designer & a graphic artist. Architectural illustrations by Michael Anderson have been published in books, magazines and numerous ads, brochures and design presentations. Michael Anderson frequently paints on Missouri Plein Air Painters Association outings

PLEIN AIR EVENT

Following the European tradition of capturing the atmosphere of the outdoors, artists are invited to join the realms of the famous regionalist artists of the 1930's by painting outdoors in scenic Ste. Genevieve with an opportunity to display and sell their work on the streets of Ste. Genevieve Saturday and Sunday, October 11th & 12th during the Autumn Daze Art / Artisan / Fine Craft event. Two pieces of work produced during the week will be juried on Saturday with monetary prizes being awarded at Noon.

This is a family oriented festival that includes Art, Artisan’s Handiwork, Fine Crafts, Children’s Art Tent, Quilt Show & Sale, Farmer’s Market, and Deju vu Spirit Reunion. The annual Promenade de Art put on by the area's local art guilds has been incorporated into this event and artists will be displaying and selling their work. There will be music, food, and refreshments all weekend.

The Ste. Genevieve Art Guild sponsors this art show featuring area artists showing and selling their work. Cookies and Spiced Apple Cider are served throughout the weekend. A painting is raffled each year and there is a silent auction with the proceeds used to fund an art scholarship for a graduating senior. A Meet the Artists Reception will be held on Saturday evening, December 1st from 6 pm to 8 pm

This annual celebration highlights the music, customs, and decorations of an early French Colonial Christmas celebration known as "Le Reveillon."
