Schmidt Art Center, Southwestern Illinois College

Construction / Deconstruction: John Watson + Sandra Abrams with Architectural Drawings from the Labor & Industry Museum, Belleville: One of the things that make us human is our ability to use tools to construct shelter and to express ourselves. In this exhibit we invite viewers to complete the process by deconstructing art and architecture and create their own stories and meaning.

Colonial Cahokia State Historic Sites complex

The "Festival of the Good Old Days," this colonial Mardi Gras celebration features music, historic tours, activities, and demonstrations at the Cahokia Courthouse, Jarrot Mansion, the Martin-Boismenue House, and the Holy Family Log Church. An evening ball is held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
