ART WALK

Ste. Genevieve, MO

Historic downtown Ste. Genevieve
Several galleries in Ste. Genevieve are offering the opportunity to view the art works of Ste. Genevieve area and regional artists with a variety of art forms that will offer something for everyone. Other retail businesses will also participate in the event by being open during the same hours. Refreshments will be served at various locations and maps are available at each location designating which galleries and studios are open.

ANNUAL
FORT DE CHARTRES
RENDEZVOUS

Prairie du Rocher, IL

Fort De Chartres
4 miles west of Prairie du Rocher on IL-155
One of the largest in rendezvous events in the country occurs annually at this historic fort. 18th century crafts, food, music, 1000's of historically dressed participants, flintlock musket and rifle competition, cannon and mortar competition, traders and more.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY
OPEN HOUSE
Prairie du Rocher, IL

Creole House
The Randolph County Historical Society will conduct guided tours of the Creole House, a 19th century home with French American transitional architecture that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Creole House is only a two block detour for visitors attending the Rendezvous at Fort de Chartres.

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
Kimmswick, MO
  June 5 - June 6, 2010
10 am - 5 pm
Downtown Kimmswick
During the first weekend in June Kimmswick is overflowing with strawberries. If it is made with strawberries you will find it at this festival. Craft and food vendors line the streets as live entertainers perform at several areas throughout town and there is an area filled with rides for the kids. This is a great event for the whole family to enjoy!

Jefferson County Fairgrounds, MO-21
Come to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds and get in on the Rodeo action! Events at the rodeo include bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronco riding, calf roping, team roping, cowgirls barrel racing and bull riding. Between 5 pm and 8 pm there are food vendors, pony rides, a petting zoo, and product concessions. Intermission entertainment is by the “IPRA Clown of the Year”  Dusty Myers and the featured musical entertainment follows the rodeo.

FRENCH FESTIVAL

This French Heritage Festival celebrates the 300 years of French culture in America from Quebec to New Orleans and recognizes the greatest concentration of French Colonial architecture in North America that exists in Ste. Genevieve. There will be music, dance, French cuisine and other refreshments, wine tasting, reenactments, promenades, lectures, and French Colonial architecture tours.

ANTIQUE SHOW & SALE 
Ste. Genevieve, MO

This show and sale will feature a variety of antiques in this circa 1912 home and spacious lawn from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. Periodic "Antique Talks" will be held on the home's wide front porch and "Antique Door Prizes" will be awarded daily.

ANTIQUE GLASS & POTTERY SHOW AND SALE
Belleville, IL

Belle-Clair County Fairgrounds, intersection of IL 159 & IL-13
This show features 29 dealers gathered from ten states on hand to display and sell Early American Pattern Glass, Depression Glass, Carnival Glass, and Glassware from the 1940’s & 1950’s as well as pottery produced in that same time period. Guest authors Don Jones and Danny Cornelius will be on hand to answer questions about this glass. A great lunch menu will be available for those of you who work up an appetite while shopping.  The Exposition Hall is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible.
Admission is $5 and good for both days. Parking is free

PORTA WESTFALICA
FESTIVAL

Waterloo, IL

Monroe County Courthouse Grounds
This annual event is held in honor of the Sister Cities partnership between Waterloo and Porta Westfalica, Germany. The festival is held on the Courthouse Square with plenty of food and drink. The traditional German fare of pork sausage and potato pancakes is available. The Waterloo German Band and the Waterloo Municipal Band perform throughout the evening. A parade featuring floats and marching bands begins at 6 pm.
