Fort De Chartres
4 miles west of Prairie du Rocher on IL-155
One of the largest in rendezvous events in the
country occurs annually at this historic fort. 18th century crafts, food, music, 1000's of historically
dressed participants, flintlock musket and rifle competition,
cannon and mortar competition, traders and more.

Creole House
The Randolph County Historical Society will conduct guided tours of
the Creole House, a 19th century home with French American
transitional architecture that is listed on the National Register of
Historic Places. The Creole House is only a two block detour for
visitors attending the Rendezvous at Fort de Chartres.

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
Kimmswick, MO |

Downtown Kimmswick
During the first weekend in June Kimmswick is
overflowing with strawberries. If it is made with strawberries you
will find it at this festival. Craft and food vendors line the
streets as live entertainers perform at several areas throughout
town and there is an area filled with rides for the kids. This is
a great event for the whole family to enjoy!

bus into town.

FESTIVAL

This French Heritage Festival celebrates the 300 years of French
culture in America from Quebec to New Orleans and recognizes the
greatest concentration of French Colonial architecture in North
America that exists in Ste. Genevieve. There will be music, dance, French cuisine and other refreshments, wine
tasting, reenactments, promenades, lectures, and French Colonial
architecture tours.

This show and sale will feature a variety of
antiques in this circa 1912 home and spacious lawn from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th

home's wide front porch and "Antique Door Prizes" will
be awarded daily.

Courthouse Grounds
This annual event is held in honor of the Sister
Cities partnership between Waterloo and Porta Westfalica, Germany.
The festival is held on the Courthouse Square with plenty of food
and drink. The traditional German fare of pork sausage and potato
pancakes is available. The Waterloo German Band and the Waterloo
Municipal Band perform throughout the evening. A parade featuring
floats and marching bands begins at 6 pm.
