ANNUAL TRADITIONAL
MUSIC FESTIVAL

Festus, MO

West City Park, 2232-2292 Old State Highway A
A weekend featuring the sounds of Bluegrass, Cajun, Country, and Irish music. This Traditional Music Festival was held annually at Fort Kaskaskia State Historic Site in Ellis Grove, IL, ending its run there in 2013. There will also be craft shows and food vendors.

ANNUAL FETE DE L'AUTOMNE
Fertile, MO

Hwy CC  across from Washington State Park
Enjoy a beautiful fall day listening to music, visiting with friends, finding your relatives and feasting on the many food delights awaiting you at the annual fete. This event features crafts, storytelling, Chicken' & Dumplinís dinner, croquignoles (French pastry made fresh on site), lots of home baked goodies, and lots more. Visit a historical display in the old Maplewood School house, see live demonstrations, trace your ancestors, purchase historical publications, visit the country store, stir the apple butter, wander the grounds, and enjoy a relaxing day with live entertainment.

APPLE BUTTER FESTIVAL

Kimmswick, MO
  October 25 - October 26, 2014

Downtown Kimmswick
The Apple Butter Festival is the largest event in Jefferson County. Hundreds of vendor booths will fill the city park and line the streets of Kimmswick selling a variety of crafts and food items. The city of Kimmswick and the Kimmswick Merchants will also be providing live entertainment. The Kimmswick Historical Society will again be making and selling their famous Apple Butter at the Apple Butter Pavilion on Market Street.
Free. Park at the Windsor School and catch a shuttle bus into town.

CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE
Kimmswick, MO

Downtown Kimmswick
Carolers, Carriage Rides and Shopping will get you into the Christmas Spirit. The festivities kick-off with the Christmas Parade at 11 am. Kimmswick will be hosting a tree lighting ceremony in front of the Visitor Center at 5pm hosted by Santa Claus. Throughout the day the town will be filled with the sights and sounds of the Holidays and all of the shops and restaurants will be open until 9 pm and will be serving refreshments. Carolers will be strolling through the streets and a horse drawn trolley will be on-hand for free rides throughout town. And, don't forget to make a stop by Mrs. Claus's Workshop at the Arnold House.
Free, a fee is charged for Ms. Claus' Workshop.

CHRISTMAS IN KIMMSWICK

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas in Kimmswick. The shops will be decked out in their holiday splendor, carolers will be strolling the streets, and horse drawn carriage rides will carry you back to a time gone by. With over 25 unique shops, Kimmswick will make your holiday shopping easy and stress free. the event also features the annual Kimmswick Christmas Cookie Walk with a cookbook filled with favorite cookie recipes from each participating shop in Kimmswick. Take your goodie bag from shop to shop and receive a cookie made from each of the recipes for you to sample.

SCIENCE FAIR

There will be hands-on activities for the whole family, the Dinosaur Egg hunt and so much more..

Come to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds and get in on the Rodeo action! Events at the rodeo include bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronco riding, calf roping, team roping, cowgirls barrel racing and bull riding. Between 5 pm and 8 pm there are food vendors, pony rides, a petting zoo, and product concessions. Featured musical entertainment follows the rodeo.

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL

During the first weekend in June Kimmswick is overflowing with strawberries. If it is made with strawberries you will find it at this festival. Craft and food vendors line the streets as live entertainers perform at several areas throughout town and there is an area filled with rides for the kids. This is a great event for the whole family to enjoy!

Run the USATF measured blacktop course among the trees in beautiful Arnold Park. 5K Chip Timing by Fleet Feet Sports. There will be awards, prizes, and some amazing holiday/summer themed raffle baskets! All proceeds benefit Arnold Food Pantry, providing food and household necessities to persons in need in Arnold and nearby areas for 30 years.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimerísô is the nationís largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimerís care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimerís disease, the nationís sixth-leading cause of death.

FALL FESTIVAL

St. Anthonyís of Padua Catholic Church, 3009 High Ridge Blvd.

Activities kick off on Friday night at this annual event hosted by St. Anthonyís of Padua with live entertainment, a washer tournament, adult games, food booths, beverage booths. The festivities continue on Saturday with St. Anthony's Parade at Noon followed by a Fried Chicken dinner beginning at 1 pm as well as rides, games, food and beverage booths, clowns and face painting, and pony rides. Live entertainment is featured all day Saturday beginning at 2 pm.

ARNOLD DAYS FESTIVAL

For over 40 years, the City of Arnold has celebrated its incorporation in a yearly community event formally known as Arnold Days that offers a multitude of activities including parades, music, food, and fireworks. Festivities start on Friday with concessions, information, product and crafts booths, games, rides, and a concert. Saturday offers a fishing derby, a car show, more food and games, fireworks, and another concert. The celebration ends on Sunday with more food and games, a parade, a competition featuring the Texaco Country Showdown.

DESOTO FALL FESTIVAL

Since 1928 DeSoto has held this fall festival. This annual event features an arts and crafts fair, a car show, a 5K run, petting zoo, dog contest, rides for all ages, inflatables, hay bail toss, food and refreshments along with the great Joachim Creek duck race. Rain date is September 21.
