Five local craft breweries in southwest Illinois are collaborating on a week of fun and beer during the Great Rivers & Routes Craft Beer Week. The kickoff for the week of beer celebrations is the Craft Brew Fest at Old Herald Square in Collinsville. Sample more than 40 different beers, coffee from local roasters, enjoy live music and shop from local vendors.
Participating breweries are the Old Herald Brewery and Distillery in Collinsville, the Recess Brewing and Peel Brewing Company in Edwardsville, the Old Bakery Beer Company in Alton, and the Opera House Brewing in Hillsboro.
Times: Noon to 4 pm
