Lewis and Clark State Historic Site. in cooperation with the Lincoln Land Association of Bird Banders, will be catching and banding hummingbirds. Experts will discuss hummingbirds, the banding process, and how to encourage these gorgeous birds to visit your yard. Opportunities to “adopt” and release banded hummingbirds are on a first-come basis. A donation is suggested for each adoption. The adopters will receive updates whenever the banded hummingbird is found somewhere else.
