The Middle Mississippi River Valley offers visitors and residents alike a wide variety of events related to Lewis and Clark and the time period that they lived in. There are many historical sites in the region that host these activities that range from reenactments and the rendezvous to exhibits, lectures, and historical programs. greatriverroad.com has included events not directly related to the Lewis and Clark adventure but capture the history of the times that either influenced Lewis and Clark or that they influenced. The French & Indian War, the American Revolution, and the Fur Trapping era are time periods that these other events portray.

There are two ways to look for events. You can go directly to the calendar and look for events in a standard calendar format organized by date. Or you can use the sorted lists below. Because every event has been tagged by city, county, type of event and features you can use the sorted list you see below.

We regularly update our calendars and changes are made when we gather more information or when we learn of an event. If you know of an event that you would like to see posted contact the webmaster. We hope you enjoy the events you choose to attend.
